The Global PropTech Summit’s new video introduces Saleh Al-Ghamdi’s upcoming discussion on digital real estate investment and fractional ownership in Saudi Arabia.

A new video from the Global PropTech Summit introduces Saleh Al-Ghamdi, co-founder and CEO of Ghanem, as a participant in a discussion about digital real estate investment and fractional ownership. The organizer frames the subject around access: whether new investment models can bring more people into real estate and create more ways to participate.
The Real Estate General Authority lists the 2026 summit for 25–26 October in Riyadh. Because the event has not yet taken place, the video should be read as a preview of the discussion, not as evidence that a particular investment outcome has been achieved.
For investors, fractional ownership can make a property opportunity accessible at a lower entry amount than buying an entire asset. That does not remove the need to examine the underlying rights. Is the interest a share of ownership, a contractual claim, or another arrangement? Who manages the asset? What fees reduce the distributable income? How and when can a participant exit?
Liquidity deserves particular care. A digital interface may make transactions easier to process, but an investor can sell only under the relevant product terms and where a buyer or exit mechanism exists. The organizer’s invitation to discuss improved liquidity is a useful question for the summit—not a promise that every fractional interest can be sold on demand.
These are the practical tests of PropTech in Saudi Arabia: clearer information, rights investors can understand, and decisions based on the full economics of a property rather than an attractive headline return.
